Ok well I thought maybe that thudding sound I've been hearing was the front shocks...oh yes they were bad, litterly grab them and push them in with ease. So I put some new ones on today...they work great BUT still thudding. So I thought it was my K&N FIPK2 hitting my fender well area...so I put on the heat shield...nope still doing it. My buddy was with me and said he could feel it in the passenger floor board and I can feel it in my clutch pedal

I checked the ball joints they all seem good...tie rod ends feel good...everything does, bushings are good etc...even check the tranny mount its good....ugh im clueless here..thought it was the motor mounts even but nope. Any ideas I haven't went over would be helpful for me to check out. (it thudds when hitting a bump sometimes...sometimes it wont...and its not just one thudd its usually 3-4thudds)

I secretly sneak up there and randomly knock on your truck while your driving around giving you the illusion that there is something wrong with it....

check your exhaust???... Dunno just a guess maybe one of the rubber pieces is broken or something of the sort, Only thing I can think of right off hand that would just flop around like that.

Have you checked the U joints. Seems like someone had this problem a few months back and it was the U joints.

no im only running 225's. Im thinkin jesses probably right either u-joints or carrier bearing is going out. Kinda odd I feel it in my clutch pedal so its probably comin from the drive line somewhere

negatory on, u-joints, carrier bearing, tranny mount/rubber bushing, exhaust, or rear end.....gah stupid gremlins are pissing me off. What I need is lots of gas and some matches.

The passenger seat in my 2nd gen blazer has just a little slack-play in it and will move-rattle if there is something on it say twenty pound's or more. Grab the seat in diff.places and pull-push-wiggle. dont rip it out or anything-gently. When mine does this it is a bit of a thud sound.

its not the seats I would of noticed that lol. Its deffiantly something mechanical. Probably a dual flux j box loose on the hinges ha

eh i think its the passenger side top ball joint...could of sworn it was coming from the drivers side

I dont think that upper balljoint's make that kind of sound over small bump's/uneven road-if you have that much slop in an upper you would prob. notice that in the steering wheel slop-and if that worn you would have instant tire wear-handleing issues.
Unless times/ part's have changed while I was asleep-it's almost alway's the lower B joint that wear's out first because of the rate of pressure from the coil spring and the potholes you cant avoid.
I dont know if you know how to properly check these part's but if not find your cousin @ ford and let him check the suspension before you go buy part's.
I'm not saying it's upper's or lower's or any of the above-as much as I know its your batt.tray rattle'n.
What ever it is I hope you find it and it's a cheap repair for you!:)

Every thing stated above is just my opinion and is better ignored-LOL

How's the upper A arm bushing's? pass. side alway's seem's to be first to go!!!!!! Just saying!:)
