P.s. I was able to convince 2 guys on the fullsize forum to buy a jammer, They are very interested. Im glad that I was able to clear the jammer name up over there. People where talkin smack so I had to fill them in on the info, and ended up purswadin them.

Give him a phone call -- the number is on the web site.

The Fullsize forums are saying bad things? Let me guess: none of them have any experience with Wynjammer either?

no , the only time i get them is when i am being overly hard on the truck...+ 5000 rpm in 4th gear on a long run . i am almost glad to know it is dumping enough fuel at that point to set the code.
haven't had the truck out in a while but maybe tommorrow. be glad when this @#$*ing winter is over!!
question -why go away from iridium plugs?

Joe

xtreme canuck: I've thought about using Iridium plugs -- just haven't quite justified $12 a spark plug to my wife just yet. . . I'm still trying to convince her how USEFUL a Bedrug and tonneau cover would be! Iridiums might be a good idea -- it's the platinums that you don't want to use. The high heat of the compression causes the platinum to flake off, and they have a higher resistance than regular copper. They're a mileage/economy plug, but not the greatest for performance.

Joe: Yes, the NGK TR55s sound about right -- I know a lot of people run them and seem to like them. I've got Champion full copper plugs right now.

MSD all the way. And, if you have ANY plans of ever going with more boost the 6BTM may cost a little more, but it's a good investment. It combines the 6AL (it has a rev limiter -- I set mine for 5400 rpm) and the Boost Timing Master (which can pull timing based on boost level if you need it to).

I'd save the e-fan for later. Use that for when you've completely run out of other ideas. If you don't have headers, get those -- they'll make the biggest difference of any mod aside from the S/C (sorry, but I can't remember if you said you already had headers or not).

But, MSD all the way for your next mod.

sounds good. i was going to go the cheaper route but maybe it is a good idea to get the better unit. i say i will not up the boost but you never know and if i change my mind at least i'll be ready to.
thanks sup

Since I have to upgrade my plugs, would it be wise for me to invest in some 8mm wires, or no??

I use the MSD SuperConductor, but I know a number of people that like the Taylor wires (a little cheaper, but still good). I've been running my MSDs for a while, so when it comes time to change them I may try the Taylors -- if I don't like them, I'll go back to MSDs when the time comes.

I've never used them and if I've heard any feedback about them, I don't remember it. . . Sorry, but I can't help on this one!

I run Taylors on my S10 and my TA and they are great wires.I like MSD wires too and ive used them several times with great results. But the Taylors are half the price of MSD's and are just as good.In fact just for kicks I test the Taylors before I put them on the TA and all of them tested less than 40 ohms.Yeah LS1 wires are about 6 inches long but hey MSD claims about the same resistance.BUT Taylors are still "half" the price lol.But either way they are both great wires.
