quick drop coil question - year compatability

I know this question is asked frequently but I couldn't find the answer:

Aside from the V6 vs. 4 cyl versions are drop coils the same for all years of s-series from 82-03? Summit lists the same spindles for 82-03 but the coils are listed 82-91 or 82-93.

I'm looking at a set of cheap 2" coils locally and he's listing them for 82-93.

Second gens are heavier. They will fit but you would end up with more drop.

Apparently they're belltech 4200's for a V6 - Summit lists them as 1" drop for 4cyl trucks from 82-03. Opinions??? I'm looking to get an inch or so lower than the current ZQ8 coil setup (which dropped it just under 1").
