I have a couple questions i want to find out about.. I have a big dent in my truck and need to get it out. should i just hit it out myself or go get it pulled and painted. and second i have sone new bulbs for my truck and need to put them in the front lights... how to you get at the bulbs to replace them? I would use the manuel but i don't have it.

If you can push the dent out, do it, but the metal will need to be shrunk in order to get rid of the creases left from the dent. That requires some special tools that you should be able to pick up from an auto paint store or tool supply store. It can be done though. Paint will most likely be needed after you are done. To your second question, I am assuming that you have a 98+ S10/Sonoma. There will be two black plastic clips that hold the headlight assembly that are located on the core support. Pull them upwards until they are completely removed. The headlight assembly should fall forward then you can remove them. When you reinstall the headlight assembly, you will need to make sure that the tabs on the bottom of the assembly goes into the two slots in the core support otherwise your headlights will point up and your hood won't close correctly.

For the bulbs, which bubls are we talking about and year of truck.
Dent, how big, how creased?
if your not sure about the dent leave it to someone who knows what they are doing you could just make more of a mess than when you bring it to someone it will cost more. but if you know alittle about metal or have someone to show you go for I say the more you can do your self the better off you are.

I have silverstar headlights on my s10 and it took me close to an hour to replace all of the headlight bulbs(keep in mind it was about 35 degrees and I was wearing gloves, so it should take less time than that) For the dent, how far in is that dent and if it is creased you will probably need to get the paint touched up.

it's a nice size dent it goes in about a foot or more and it has a big crease and the paint is cracked in several places. i think i'm going to leave the dent until i can get it done professionally.
i have a newer stylin concepts mag and in it they have listed halo conversion for the 4"x6" headlight, i think they are less than 20 a piece
