hEY guys here I got a problem and I have no clue what it is, even the shop couldn't figure it out.

ABout 2 weeks ago my s10 would start up , it would turn over and crank and crank, it had fuel, and it had spark just wouldn't fire. Now it was could and rainy outside. Tow it to the shop and it sat for a day and the next day it warm and sunny out and it fired right up everytime the shop guys turn the key.
SO i go and pick it up it starts fine and then the next day it rainy out and it wouldn't fire up again. So who got a idea,a guess anything to help me out here

Water getting into the electronics somehow, maybe. That would be my guess.

well both of my inner fenders are in pretty mad shape, hanging off and the starter , coil and etc is all at the bottom of the motor. So you thiink that the water is affecting them?

I' not a mechanic by any means but that would be my guess if I had to make one.

I'd start with a distributor cap and rotor. Plug wires as well.

Hall effect switch in the distributor is my guess.

Pool, x3. What kind of a "shop" couldn't put two and two together?
