View Full Version : Removing 1995 dash bezel - need to lower steering column?
Just checked the stickies...the 1995 is not covered. I want to replace the OEM am/fm radio with an OEM CD/Radio. Do I need to drop the steering column some to remove the dash bezel to get at it?
thanks

I've done the 2000 and the 2001 without dropping the column, but auto on column will have to be taken out of the park position.:)
Thanks..forgot to mention that my vehicle doesn't have tilt and is a 5sp.

No to the column. If i remember right the bezel is primarily clipped in. It's been a few years for me, but I'm pretty sure if there are any screws at al they are behind the ash tray.

Mine has one screw at the top of the speedo then it just clips in. In your case unclips..
But mine are 2001 and 2002...

I just looked at a picture of a 95 dash. The center bezel does connect with the instrument bezel as well as the outer switch area. So there should be a screw in the top of the center bezel. Basically you get that screw out and start working the assembly out from the top out and down. Oh, and WATCH OUT for the emergency flasher switch, they break pretty easily.

The 95 flasher is not as fragile as the 97+
