Ok guys I've had some threads on here over the last couple of months dealing with my 93 Sonoma 4.3 Vin W 2wd. It only has 77,000 on it and after a lot of searching and a couple of mechanics I determined it has a spun bearing.

After much debate and research I have decided to replace it with a powertorque reman engine from O'reilly's. I know some of you will say I should just rebuild it, but this is the route I am taking because I would like to have the warranty.

I wanted to see if you guys would suggest replacing anything else while I am doing this.

Heddmann Hedders

High Flow Cat - magnaflow

Muffler - Dynomax Bullet
(Gonna have the shop fab a y-pipe and run 2 1/2 to the cat and muffler and then have it turned down)

Energy Suspension Motor and Transmission Mounts

Water pump - cardone lifetime warranty

Radiator - Proliance w/ eng oil cooler

NGK Platinum Plugs

Plug Wires - Accel

Cap and Rotor - Accel

Starter (adding starter heat shield) - lifetime warranty

Thermostat

Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses

Serpentine Belt

New CPI Injector

Fuel Line O-Ring Kit (Nut Kit)

FlexPlate

Just looking for some input and/or suggestions on anything else I should replace while the motor is out. Thanks for all the help guys and I'll post pics and updates in 2 weeks hopefully!;)

How about your oil cooler lines?
change all vacuum lines.
I'm still thinking
I think you covered it all.
Look the dizzy over good. Mite want to change out the mod. inside.
Look at the egr ports and clean them good. Check your power steering pump good at the seal. Look at the hoses too. If they are going bad now is the time to change them...

I've got a hi-flow cat that's 2.5" I'm looking to get rid of. Obviously, it's been used but only has about 1-2K miles on it. So, it's still kinda new. It's stainless steel. It's the one I have used breifly on the V8 blazer.
