Yea I got all the parts.I'm just waiting for the Edelbrock intake to arrive. It's
already powder coated along with the fuelrails and the tb spacer. Gonna be
using 65# injectors along with the TunerCat program. Once I get it running
with the t3/t4 hybrid turbo, my next upgrade will be the Turbonetics 62-1

First off it's looking really slick Tony.Who made the plate for your throttlebody and which Edelbrock intake is that.Ive not seen Edelbrock make a vortec intake that has injector bungs already in it.
edelbrock doesnt make a MPFi manifold, its an edelbrock 2114 manifold for a carb thats been machined and the injectors bungs welded in. looks awesome tony

The plate was made by my buddy Sam(gotswrv)and also the manifold is all his
work. He is thinking of making this stuff available. Contact him if you're interested. His work speaks for itself. I'll be starting up the engine soon with the
stock manifold and t3/t4 turbo.Once I fine tune this setup and see what it puts

I've seen Sam's work -- really good, to say the least (of course, I'm no true judge of machining work, but it looks good, nice and neat).
Hopefully Tunercat will eliminate the EGR. 65# injectors! Wow. . . That's some serious fuel delivery. . .
If I remember, you're using a 4x4, right? If so, did you convert it to AWD? I seem to recall seeing you post something about that.

I might have to look him up about that intake.I have a set of 98 vortec heads just waiting to go on my CPI engine.I might look in to going MPFI with a intake like that.I could use my stock TBI for the air flow like Edelbrock's TBI to MPFI kits are made.Only issues would be turning a two injector signal system in to a batch fired speed density MPFI system.Which can be done just like Edelbrocks kit.It sure would open up more options.Supercharging could be approached differently since your no longer a blow through system.Even n/a the hp/tq curve would be increased greatly by the added air flow of the Edelbrock intake, vortec heads, and a better fuel a/f mixture.OHHH the gears are turning fast now.Im starting to get all kinds of fun ideas. If you don't mine me asking Tony how much did he charge you to fix the intake.Because I must say he done one very good job.

My truck is a 2wd 98 Sonoma ext.cab.I thought about awd, but I'm not equipped to do a conversion like that. So my next option was to build a 4.3 with as much reliable hp as possible. My progress is very slow but I don't want to rush into it. I can see the smoke comin out your head man! As far as pricing the intake, you'll have to contact Sam about that. Usually when you do the first build on

pieces. He's a straight up guy and I know he'll give you a fair price.

I don't have a problem making up more... I may just sell them through a local speed shop if it gets busy. I expect Tony's to be the most complete package I ever have to deliver. I know most of us like to do everything we can to our own tastes, and few will ever want everything from the fuel line in all the way to the fuel line out. After all we do it so it's done our way.
I would like to offer just enough to allow one to shop at Summit for as much as they can. Give everything needed to be able to buy plain old NPT and AN fittings, domestic injectors, regulator, etc. That was always the goal, to be able to use standard parts. Not to force people into using anything specific, or rather like the stock manifold, force people not to do anything.
As far as I can tell the only thing the end user should have to "make" is to bend, cut, and drill a hole into the throttle body bracket. I am going to look into what these will cost to purchase from the dealer and re-work them for those who cannot "make" anything.
I'm glad you guys seem to like it. Seems like it's been a long time coming(Tony, you have been very patient, thank you). If anyone has any ideas to make it better please speak up. People not listening to us is why I took this project on in the first place.

system for my project and best of all got to make new friends who share a love for cars, music, and other things as I do. I've been working on my project for awhile now and some people say I have great patience. One things for sure,
I'm not quitting till I'm finished. Alot of people want things to drop out of the sky for them and once they run into a little trouble, they say it's too hard, too much money or not worth it. If that attitude were prevailent, man would not have put
a step on the moon. I know once I'm done, I'll be spanking quite a few quiters.

Well Max it's like this, I have little time to work on my truck because of all my other duties. I have several properties that I look after and they take up alot of my time. I just have a couple of wiring issues that need to get done and
I'll be able to fire her up. Not too long now till I get er done. PEACE>Tony

Here's the lastest on the turbonoma. I changed out the fuel pump and wouldn't you know it, another problem comes up. The truck wouldn't start and it acts as if it's on a weak battery. No voltage to the fuel pump. I'm told to check for a bad starter. I already checked the pump and it's ok. I was told to hook up the taillight harness and the ground wires and nothing happened. Was told s-10 are notorious for burning the starter without a hint. Wish I had more direct help. PEACE>Tony
i responded to your thread at s10 forum. what size wire did you use for the main power feed from the battery in the bed? what about ground? i had similar issues, ran a 0 gauge feed and three 8 gauge grounds, solved all my problems, which were similar to yours

I used 4 gauge feed and one ground feed from the battery. I used the mad enterprizes startum up and relocation kits. Mark said that the 4 gauge feed was
ok. Guess I should use a couple more ground feeds direct from the battery. I'm
also gonna remove the starter and take it down to Advance and have them check it out. PEACE>Tony

Turns out the starter was making too many amps(150)and over heating thus causing the weak cranking condition. Bought a new one and hope to install it tomorrow.PEACE>Tony

It's running guys! Had to buy a new battery too. Stuff turns to crap when it lays around for too long. Used a battery charger to fire it up. I also added some extra ground cables for good measure. Thanks to all for the suggestions. Working on getting some vids asap. PEACE>Tony

Started it up with the new battery today. Idles rough and I have to feather the throttle to keep it running.Efans aren't working so it got hot real quick. Afr says it's 18.8 and my fp reads 38lbs. Tried putting it in gear and nada. Hope it's not the torque converter. Still have alot to do but I'm kinda motivated again. PEACE>Tony

Well guys,I know the updates have been long and in between. I have re-cooped from my surgery. The turbonoma is awaiting for the tuning to begin. I'm vacationing for the holidays with my family in Florida. I'll be meeting up with Justin aka leadfoot in Tampa this week. Gonna shoot the bull and have a few coronas. Happy new year to one and all and may this year be when we all get our trucks running the way we want. PEACE OUT>Tony

Finally got back from my holidays trip to Florida. Hung out with Justin aka "Leadfoot" over in Tampa. Well I went and started up the engine and to my surprize it remained idling. Before I would have to keep my foot on the gas peddle at around 1700rpm or it would die out. I think the ecu is still on a learning curve. I did unplug the maf so it would start up running on speed density. Later I plugged it back in while still running and it remained the same. PEACE OUT>Tony
