well i just used a little handheld tape recorder and layed the sound down on a cassette. then i put the cassette in a walkman and played it into my soundcard (via a male/male sound cable) on my computer and recorded it from there. its kind of a half ass way of doin it but it worked.
i have no idea how to do what youre tryin to do though. i dunno how to get rid of the video and leave the sound.
good luck and PM me lowrider if ya got any ?'s

if you have a digital camera that can record movies just place your camera under your truck on a towel or something and record a movie with audio and then just extract the audio, convert to wav or mp3...ez as pie...

thats a nice soundin clip crazy...
btw...if you have itunes...you can pretty much drag and drop .mov and .mpeg files then convert them into super small files...go from 12.5mb to like 700K...something like that...

I use Quicktime Pro for all my audio conversions, like I told lowriderbowtie- if anyone needs anything converted to 3G, MP3, AIFF, MPEG-4, WAVE, uLAW, let me know. I can't do anything with WMA, since Microsoft won't release the codec!

Im gonna try and post a clip of mine....hopefully it works.
Its a Magnaflow stainless 4x9x14 (center/offset) dumped before the axle.
edit: this muffler is getting really really loud and throaty now! i should have waited to put that clip up..cause its brand new on day 1 there, but now it hasnt been 1 week and its starting to growl!! ill replace this clip with a 2week break-in clip when the time comes
