Hair bands? How is that? They look nothing like the Hair Bands. Those were bands that had no musical substance, wore lots of glitter, and had teased hair that stood 3 feet off their head.

The majority of the band has long hair, but they look grungy, not effeminate. And, of course, the lead guitarist shaves his head.

CC started a couple years after Slayer ('87 I believe) and are still producing albums (like Slayer). They are heavier than Slayer and much more warped. Hell, look at the album covers and you pretty much have an idea about the lyrical content.

If asked to define pure musical aggression, then CC would be the closest thing to it.
