as some of you can probally tell i am looking into getting a new truck. it is an 03 ext cab fleetside, charcoal interior, power everything, indigo blue (which is my favorite color) tinted glass and a sliding rear window. i am going to get this truck. the reason i cannot sleep is because i am afraid it wont be there for me to pick up at 1 pm tomorrow. just figured i need to tell someone...

that's great if you've done all the checks and test drove it. I hope your not rushing into this though.
there is no need to rush into a deal on a truck exspecaly not a 2 year old s-10. i love my s-10s and all, but i buy with the relization that these are 1st time vehicles for allot of....well.......kids and most have been beat pretty bad and have no real resell value. If your duying off a used car lot, you really have to be on your toes. These guy are real good at hiding things and in most cases people don't notice the things that are broke or missing till a week down the road. USED CARS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER LEMON LAWS IN MOST STATES.

To put it this way.s-10s are a "dime" a dozen. there is alway a nicer one at a better price around the cornor. if it's not there in the morning it's not a big deal. You just look for anoughter. Have you test drove anything outher than a dime though.these truck can be crapmed and you really have to love these trucks to buy 2 in row. I have the 2 beater s-10s and my 03 so yea i'm definatly an entusiasts, but i have outher vehicles as well that give my 6'1" 260lb fat ars some room to move around.

i agree with you about hiding things. i went to a dealership about 50 miles from here to look at a 2001 s10...outsided looked good, but then upon better looking, poped the hood and it had overspray all over the engine, opened the door and the stickers had been removed and restuck. I open the glove box and the same thing with the RPO codes. had them run a carfax and it came up clean. something didnt make sence there. i told them to stick it!

yea i got it. like i said it is everything i want minus 3 things: zq8, center console shifter, and a g80. other than that it is perfect. i bought it with no warrenty expressed or implied because it only had 122xx on it so the factory warrenty is still in effect. i think the first thing i am going to do is cut the airbox and install a drop in k and n filter...

i double checked the rpo decal in the glove box and it does have g80 posi-traction!!!
