keyless entry

hi i have a 1992 Chevy s10 blazer 2 door and pulled the keyless entry receiver with 2 feet of with out of a 1993 GMC Jimmy 4 door can someone tell me what wires on the reciever go into.

okay if this will get me an answer sooner the wire colors are purple, lite blue, 2 orange with Black stripe, 2 Black, Brown,Tan

It should plug into a connector just like the one it was connected to when you pulled it out of the other vehicle. For that matter, GM designs these so that they will only fit one connector. There shouldn't be another one under the dash that this unit will plug into. Your Blazer will have to be wired for it, including the actuators in the doors. If your Blazer didn't have the keyless entry option, you have a little more work to do that just connect the receiver. Go back to the other Blazer and get the rest of the stuff...
