Ign/gau fuse blowing...again????

Ok folks it last about a day and a half. LOL I have a 1993 GMC JIMMY. I just opened the light switch again and looked at the wires and this time I found a white wire, thicker then a 18 gauge, pushed down into the dash. It had a clean tip so im thinking it was attached to the switch at one point and broke off when i put the tach on. I must have pushed it down behind the dash and didnt notice it. Does anyone have a clue where it goes?

I think the white wire goes to the cluster because it leads to the right and back behind it.

what part of the dash is this white tire at?
If you have a meter, put it on continuity. Probe that wire with one test lead ant takt the other to the underdash domelight. Remove domelight and probe both prongs. If one completes the continuity circuit then that white wire is the grounded trigger for domelights. Commonly Orange - 12V and White - Ground.

Other than that I would need to know more.
