Hello Everyone, I just wanted to pass on a "permanent" fix for those cheap plastic third door release handles. I stumbled across this replacement handle after searching the web for something other than the plastic ones since I had already replaced the plastic one twice already. The following link will take you to a metal replacement handle that I purchased for $18.00 and has worked flawlessly for me.The link is: http://www.3rddoorhandle.com/ I hope this helps those of you that haven't heard of these.

After seeing how simple the design of the handle I had thought to myself that I could have probably made the same handle myself.

Same here. My stock handle wasn't even broken yet but I knew it was only a matter of time until it broke.

haha nice. yeah mines still broken... i tried taken the whole handle out to fix it but couldnt figure out how to take it off... so now i just pop out the whole plastic thing, and twist it. then pop it back in when closing the doors. free easy fix. haha. also has any of yalls hood latches inside the cabin broke??? the wire snapped through the cheap plastic so to open the hood now i need pliers to pull the wire... also another problem that always seems to come back is the alignment. not hitting anything but for some reason it wants to pull to the left and i just got it realigned a few months ago..

Yeah, I bought the seat fix from gmseatfix.com and it doesn't work. It won't even stay on and it doesn't work to recline the seat. At least it's the passenger seat on my truck. My passengers don't need to be too comfortable.:p

00S104.3- I'm still laughing about your comment on the passenger's not being too comfortable! Great attitude!
