Is there a way to do this? I couldn't find anything on the mozilla site or through google. I use messenger alot (even for work purposes) and I like getting inbox alerts but I hate that it'll only open hotmail with IE.
Dealing with internet explorer's constant freeze ups makes me pretty violent and increases my urge to kill things to an unsafe level.

interesting - I'll look into that. Thanks!
If you set FF as your default browser........when I am in MSN it open FF to view and edit mail...:)...:cowsleep:
And it does not affect your windows updates..they still open IE...:)

Doesn't matter if FF is set as the default browser. It will open links inside a messenger window with FF that way but it won't link to a hotmail inbox without IE.
