Ive been offered to buy a -99 4x4 s10 that the keys have "fallen out electronicly" from the car.
I cant think of any other way of explaining it.
The car has been powerless for a long time. When the owner should start it it displayed "security" and it did not start.
We used to service GM-US trucks a few years ago but we dont have the upplink anymore.
Is there any other way to program the keys to the car again.
Can i use my -98 s10 to program his keys and then swap ecm and keys?
We still have the diagnos-instrument for GM.
There are about 40-50 cars standing still in sweden that has new ecm:s etc. that cant be programmed ive herd.

Can't you just turn the key to run and wait until it starts to chime and the light goes out then start it? It can take up to 30 minutes..

Reflash the PCM without the anti-theft security.

On mine I changed G1201 Anti Theft Configuration from "Class-2" to "none"
