I like to keep her clean as possible. I went all out on this one tho...i have acess to a lift and steam cleaner at work, so i got the truck up and steamed off 20 years of grease and grime. She looks brand new

thats real nice and clean man. place here in austin charges 34.95 to steam clean your entire engine compartment...the end result looks like a virgin engine thats never been driven...but i can't bring myself to spend 35 bones for a cleaning...

Bump For A Nice, Clean Engine Compartment!
That looks really good man. Wish I had access to something like that. Ill probably have the detailing place do my engine compartment.
lookin good man. i definatly need to do something like that i try cleaning it with soap and water every once and a while but it just doesnt do that good of a job.
alright thats it, i'm going out to take pictures of my engine compartment, believe it or not.... it's cleaner... but mine is only a 2003 (daily driver)
seriously, i use armoral on all the hoses and plastic, i wax the firewall (cut hands from screws, etc) i wipe of the valve covers polish the aluminum and metal surfaces then wax, and i even use amoral on the plastic parts of the fan. the inner fenders are clean and painted black and shiny. the bottom of the hood is cleaned and waxed and armoraled and i take out the headlights and unscrew the grill to clean the core support etc.
