17 x 10.5 wheel

what is the proper b/c and what is the widest tire i can run on this wheel. links coming in a minute...

6" of backspacing and a 295. You could probably fit a 305 if you trim off the lip of the rear fender.

So if I am to get 17x8 in the front and 17x10 in the rear, I should backspace them 4" and 5.75" ??? or should I go 6" of b/s in the rear? Or am i out to lunch and totally off?

I'd go with 6" for the rear. A wider track with improve both traction and handling.
