I just went out for a ride today and I noticed i could smell gas real strong but i didn't think much of it because I know I have an o ring that is leaking but this smell was stronger than normal. so after about 2 hours of driving I get home and just check it out. ends up theres a small pin hole in one of the lines which is spraying a pretty good size mist of gas all over the top of the tank (it doesnt take much of a hole because these trucks run at like 54lb of fuel pressure). I'm lucky I didnt have any kind of a spark under there boom .

whats my best way to fix this I'm thinkin just make a whole new piece that goes from the fuel pump connection right to the fuel filter. I would just put in a little piece with compression fittings but theres already one on that line in a different spot. I also think you can get a factory piece right from gm but i'm not sure. so whats my best way to fix it?

thanks all i got to do is figure out the fitting that i need tommarow and how much fuel line i need and i'll be set to go. my only problem is finding a place to do it I got a 30x50 garage sitting in my back yard but it doesnt have doors on it yet its just closed in on both ends so i cant use it and my whole back yard is either snow or mud so it looks like i'm gettin wet and dirty.

I'd get the part from gm. Glad nothin bad happened. But I read your signature..my bf had an 18' kicker...it was loud as hell. Do you have that hooked up plus the two 12' pioneers? Thats gotta be crazy. Our snow is all melted and getting warmer. Have fun!

the only prob with getting the piece from gm is it will prob take a while to get since its a factory piece and i could have the tubeing bent and put in tommarow because i have all the tools and the time to do it.
yeah all the subs are hooked up and yes it is loud. if you get a song with good bass you cant turn it up all the way or it just hurts. and the worst part is hopefully over the summer i will get 2 matching 15"s to replace the 12"s.
and we have alittle snow left but buy the end of the week it should be gone
