hi guys, new to these cars, looking at this car for sale:
http://www.easyautosales.com/used-cars/2001-Chevrolet-Blazer-Xtreme-12217106.html
looking to replace my 03 mustang GT. are these things fun to drive, not horrible on gas, and comfortable to ride in?
also looking at s10 xtremes, hard to find for a good price.

well the price is right, thats factory MPG ratings i dunno if those are 100% accurate. id fly out to columbus and if its right, drive it home. if not, fly back...its hard to find em that cheap and it looks good.

Second gen's are pretty comfy. First gen's not quite as much, but still not too bad. I've always had a soft spot for Blazers, so I'd say go for it. But yea, any time you buy a used vehicle it's a bit like playing russian roulette.
that price isn't bad...and it looks nice.....test drive it.
I don't like the way they average out the mileage though.

People are idiots and hit the air dam on parking blocks all the time.
Find a dealer around you with something similar and test drive that.
Personally I don't like the factory 60/40 seat in these trucks, not enough support. Feels like you are sitting on a couch rater then a car seat. Cavalier or Camaro seats are an easy swap to remedy the problem. I have never driven a second gen with factory buckets so I have no input on them.

I like it.
Check into why the rear bumper corner is bent up and why the right gfx isnt. Maybe some prior damage. Maybe minor tho
