i have a 92 S10 Blazer and it started to studder pritty damn bad so i put in injector cleaner and heat, and then couple days later it wouldnt start. so i took my it to a local shop and they told me my CPI unit wasnt workin properly, so i took it home and changed the part and it still doesnt work. what might be wrong. i checked my fuel pressure and its at 58 psi.

first off welcome to the site. the cpi's are alittle harder to find info about because not very many people have them. 58psi is good because it takes 54psi for the injectors to work. did you replace the whole cpi unit or did you just replace the fuel pressure regulator. also was it leaking you would be able to to because one side of the plenum would be washed out (be cleaner than the other side) and if it was which side?

yea i replaced the whole CPI unit and no its not leaking at all. the CPI unit is reciving gas (just tested it) so we think that it has something to do with Compression or maybe the spark plugs and/or wires.

are you getting voltage to the unit. use a test light in the injector connection and have a person crank the car over the light should blink. Als you need to check the restance of the cpi unit post up the restance and i will look up the specs when i get home later.
