i just thought i'd post up some pics of my dime. i painted it and layed out the flames myself a few years ago. not bad for my first time eh? hopefully it will be sporting a supercharger for some underhood bling lol. tell me what ya think

I like how the ghost flames stand out up close, but not far away. I noticed your truck has the black horizontal grille divider on the front normally found on the xtreme(regular S-10's have it in chrome), where did you get that?

thanks for the compliments guys. its good to see that people like it after all thw work i'v put into it. i posted these at s10forum.com too and the pics showed up larger over there, i dont know why, maybe someone could help me with that.

the rims are boze stingers 18x8 with 235/40 rubber
jrod, were you askin me what type of roll pan i have? right now its got a 99 bumper i painted black to match. the grill and front end are off a black 2000 extreme. i put an ss bowtie on it after these pics. the girl is crystal and she can be seen at www.streetsourcemagazine.com (http://www.streetsourcemagazine.com). i have some more pics of her and my truck i'll have to look for them. yes the horns are hell on the ears lol. i'm not an A hole with them though like some people can be lol

I was actually planning on putting an air horn on my truck, hehe, I saw air horn kits at farm and fleet for like 20 or 30 bux. :D

yes look for the pics i'm sure everyone wold like to see me encluded. and you got all those horns use them there made to be used. especially at night when people are sleeping and in tunnels too there cool in tunnels with traffic jams.

I'm thinking about flaming my truck this summer. Any tips for a rookie. I painted my truck my self last summer and did a decent job for a 1st timer. But it needs something to make it stand out.

make sure you use good products not just the paint but everything encluding the tape if your gonna lay out the flames free hand. take your time i know we all wanna rush things to get the done but if you think some thing dont look right dont be afraid to take the tape off and start again. sand good it will make it stick better last longer and look better. after you paint on the flames your best bet would be to put a coat of clear (of intercoat clear) than unmask all your flames and clear the whole truck or atlleast all the pannels that you added the flames to. if you need more help just ask if i dont know some one else will or i can ask my farther (he knows pretty much everything you gonna need to about painting)

if theres one thing you dont want to rush, its painting. just take your time and make sure you use the proper cleaner to clean the base coat before you spray the clear or else it will fish eye horribly
