I have a box that piggybacks my pcm in my jimmy. Does anyone know what this is for? It is about a third of the size of the ECM. It also has a harness connector the size of the ECM. Is this the transmission control module? Just curious? Thanks.

Yes, it is a push button 4WD.

That's what it is....
TCCM - Transfer Case Control Module - Located behind the glove box. This is the electronic ‘brains’ behind the shifting.

Well, now I know. I did not realize it took a module that big to control the 4WD. Thanks for the info.
