If you get alot of bugs on your windows, use a fine peice of steel wool. It works really good. Just spray on some kind of window cleaner, and use the steel wool, and it gets the bugs right off without scratches.

I use regular glass cleaner and steel wool to clean the windows and Rain-X windshield wax to protect the glass. It makes it easy to clean next time and bugs don't stick to the windshield.Pluss it makes it easier to see in the rain.
I like rain x, also, does anyone know how to take scratches out of the windshield.

throw something at it till you get a good size chip then tell your insurance company and you'll just get a new one for free
We did that with my grandpas show truck. Some ass bag trucker threw up a big ass rock into his 70 chevy on the way to a truck show and put a quarter size chip in the windshiled. Luckily he put the vehicle stat sheet in the window over the crack and still took first place. He called the insurance company and told them it was cracked all the way across and they had to send a rep to assess the damage. My dad took a hammer and gently tapped on it until it cracked all the way across and we got a new windshiled for nothing.
