I would like to bag my 98 dime but I am a do-it-yourselfer. If I decide to bag the front can I do it without cutting or welding? Also, can I do this now and then have the back done without problem? :alcoholic

these days you can layout an s10 on 20s with no welding at all... but you will spend alot of money...

for the front...

u will not lay out on a 20 without welding and u cant even bag one without cutting. but u can bag a s10 on 20s without welding yes but ur only as low as ur inner fenders.

Are we talking about the wheel wells or something else. I would like to do it myself. think it would be more satisfying that way but do not own a welding machine. I can weld but figure I might as well pay someone to do it than rent a welder for a weekend.

You dont need to weld to bag the front but as they said, you may not lay out depending on your tire size. Removing the inner fenders, relocating a few things under the hood, tubbing the firewall are things that would need to be done. Cutting of the spring pocket will be needing to make clearance for the bag. For some more info check out the baggin it section at s10forum.com/forum. There is more info than you could ever need there and you wont have to wait several days for a reply, may take a few minutes to just a couple of hours
