It's a reference to Norse beliefs. Ragnarok is the end of the world, the last battle between the Aesir ("the gods") and the Giants, when the glorious dead that have died in battle and spent their afterlife feasting in Valhalla are called to fight beside Odin.

The Christian concept of Armaggeddon is very similar to this (in fact, is taken from this), except there is not "final judgment" since judgment is made upon a person's death.

I'm Ásatrú (do a Google search if you don't know what that means, or try http://www.asatru.org/), so I make off-handed references like that.

What's a little "too weird?" The references or the belief? Just a word of caution, though, I wouldn't use the term "weird" in reference to someone's beliefs -- they might be insulted. . .

i couldnt even figure it what it was saying never mind thinking what it was saying was weird. yeah i dont get into the whole religon thing. i dont really have a problem with any of them i just dont get into it. when you have a problem with someones belifes than thats how wars start and i dont wanna do that

I've been trying to find a different one that suits me. . . Darth Vader is cool and all, and he's definitely a badass, but I'm a little more ruthless. . . So, I've been working on a couple new avatars this week. I've got three so far that'll do for now.
