If i had the extra cash and could find a set for a decent price!I've never used shortys,always used long tube on all my cars/trucks,not really sure of the performance difference,I DO like the sound of long tubes+flowmasters better than the shortys though.

Sounds great! I don't blame you about not wanting to do the burn out. Tires aint cheap. My tires are shot and I need new ones anyways. So I have no problem smokin them every now and again. I just never have anyone to hold the damn camera.

Thanks scott i am pretty darn happy with it myself! I am thinkin about having the tail pipe replaced after the muffler and upping it to 3"!!!!
That will def make it deeper and louder!

I didnt know they made long tube headers for our trucks. Would the ones you got work on my 03?I got mine from Hammer Head,they were the hardest headers to put on I have ever put on.had several small issues to move or modify.Not sure of the part # on them.Even with them being hard to put on I still like them.Mine is a first gen,I don't think they make long tubes for the second gen,could be wrong though.

They don't make L.T. for 2ndgens. But there are guys that have put 1stG L.T.'s on 2ndG's. From what I here it is a PITA. I would do it though.

There is no inspection or smog check here in florida.
So i am good to go! If i got rid of the cat all i would need to do is to send my computer back to wait4me to have the cat taken off the tune
