haha...your a lightweight...this past weekend we got VIP in a club called Mantra in the big H...two bottles of Grey Goose were purchased and the pitchers of cranberry juice were flowing with no end. after about 10 Cape Cods...I starting to get that feeling so i cut myself off. but now my favorite drink...its gotta be either Crown and Coke or Chivas on the rocks...or Ketel One and Red Bull...I drink too much...

King of Spirits Gold Absinthe.

I have to have it shipped from Europe. (It is illegal to sell here in the states. But anyone can possess it.)
$335 shipped for 1.4 liters. Puts a hell of a dent in my wallet. But 1-2 glasses will lay anyone out. Its about 140 proof, but the real kicker that gets people is the 100 mg of thujone per glass. Hehehehe. . . .

After one, one and a half glasses of Gold I am often trippin' for the rest of the night.

King of Spirits Gold is the Premium label of the King of Spirits Absinthe. Its still green.

Other types of absinthe have a little bit of thujone, but not as much, (10 mg instead of the 100 mg in KoSG) so the 'green fairy' isn't as vivid or as long lasting. I rather enjoy sitting in the dark all by myself watching the green fairies dance.
And it is NOT a good idea to post while drinking absinthe.

i can attest to the absinthe... when i was in germany, that **** was everywhere. mostly though, if you've drank enough to hallucinate, you've probably gone to far and are seeing **** anyway. it tastes like turpentine and toothpaste to me....

my fav is probably redbull and vodka... so many good memories with that, especially in spain where they were serving 1 liter mugs, half smirnoff and half redbull, for 11 bucks. woooo... never done so much and remembered so little.

Yeah, you're right about that. I didn't reallly think that more of the bad stuff could make it taste better. Do you do the whole deal with sugar cubes and water and whanot? i watched this thing on TV one time where they had jars of absinthe, and let some bigass nuggs of herb soak in it... all kind of hippy things.. but it turned out to be a "tasty" drink when they were done...

I too am interested in this better absinthe.. but damn, the cost! Man, i could buy... all kinds of small truck stuff with that!

Yep.
I have an absinthe spoon and a cup of sugar.
I don't put anything in it, I simply pour it thru the sugar into the glass. Helps get the impurities out. You need to use real sugar tho, as nutrasweet makes it taste like toothpaste.

Pricy, yes.
The normal King of Spirits is $100 a bottle, but it isnt as good or as strong.
