Go to your local motorcycle shop and pick up some chain lube that says "wont sling off".
Basically it goes on as a liquid but quickly turns into a grease. Wont drip off and lasts a long time. With wd40 and 3 in1 I'd get about 2 weeks out of them. I used this stuff called spectro total tac I used to use on my dirtbike, and no squeeks for over a month now.

thats cool...i'm tired of 3 and 1ing my doors and tailgate...especially when i take it to the wash...i use to use a grease gun...but that was messy...and cancer causing...
thats a good idea my doors always squeek now if i could only use it on my breaks

If you want to "keep in in the family" so to speak, Chevrolet sells a product for the hinges that sprays on a turns to a grease. It's called Super Lube and the part number is 12346241. I paid $8.28 for an 11 ounce can.

I forgot about that. I used to have a bike years ago and that's what I used on my Chain. It is good stuff. It last virtually forever.
