Does anybody know where to get GM wheels at. I am trying to find a set of S-10 wheels, and they are off of the the 03 and 04 S-10's with the sport package. They are 5 spoke wheels, and I believe they are 16's. Does anybody know what I am talking about, and do you know where I can get a set of those?

You are looking for the ZQ8 style wheels. your best bet would be a salvage yard, they would be cheepest there. Other wise the dealer will have them, but prepare to be bent over

These are what you are talking about right?

No, those arent the wheels I'm talking about. They look somewhat like the wheels that are just on the regular S-10 in like 1999, but they are the sport version. I dont know how to explain it. I tried to find pics of it, but I cant find any

I know which ones you are talking about. off the 02-up zq8 style. my cousin has a set of brand new ones with brand new tires he was going to put on his 3rd gen camaro but it took a dump so he is trying to sell them. he paid about 800 for the combo.

I'm extremely temped to go with those as well. Unfortunately in my quest for big brakes (SSBC's 13 inch monsters) I don't think I'll be able to use anything less than 17s... :(

Well, you dont necesarily have to get 13 in brakes. Why do you want that big of brakes anyways? If you want to stop fast, 10 in crossdrilled will do the job great.

You probably dont even need 10 in to stop you fast

Yeah I have SSBC caliapers and they help stop faster, even with the stock sized rotors(sloted). Anything more is just overkill.

i know...i have a thing for big brakes as well...but since i plan on sticking with 16" zq8s...the standard disc drilled or slotted will do fine for me. 13" is 1 step away from having Audi RS6 sized Brembo Brakes...they are zinc washed, slotted and drilled...badass...

I bet thoes are the ones he's looking for.
I badly wanted thoes rims too, but i found my Eagle 203's really cheap.

I actualy priced thoes out brand new from Chevy. 4 wheels, center caps, lug nuts were around 900 cdn.

and you're probably right. but if I had the 18" rims I really want, wouldn't some 13"s look niceeeee???

I'm going to have to weigh my options. Either: Paint the truck, put rims on it, big brakes, a supercharger, a programmer, and new gears...

Or. Paint the truck, buy a yamaha WR250F, and some riding gear.. oh, the decisions...

I would get the dirtbike. Dirtbikes are awesome. I have a KTM MXC200. Its a beast.

come to think of it, I was looking at those same zq8 rims on gmpartsdirect.com last week, I just wonder how they would look with the stock suspension on my truck...

They would probably look good, but just don't go with a really low profile tire.

nomaboy

the bigger the sidewall you get the taller the tire and you will lose quite a bit of take off.
