I know it's not the interior but I also have white LED license plate lights that I purchased a while back.

Let me know what you think.

I think you're going to have to start wearing suntan lotion if you keep them on for any length of time.:D
It does look like it would be nice if you're hunting around for something under the seat becuase the stock interior lighting sucks! I know there has been a few times where I've had to get out the flashlight and hunt for things.

Looks good.
I have white LED's in my truck too. Definately a big difference in lighting. I could never go back to factory bulbs.

Those are sweet. How much did you pay for the various ones, and where did you buy them?

I got them from v-leds.com
These for the footwells (comes in a pack of two $9.99)

Two of these for the map lights ($12.99 each)

One of these for the dome light ($19.99)

FYI - Double check your map lights before ordering. Some use the 211 and some use 194 bulbs.

Damn those are high. I got all mine off fleabay and they been working fine for almost 2 years now. Mine run closer to $1 a bulb if I remember right but I bought in bulk as I was replacing lights on 3 trucks.

Yeah. I was hoping for a bit cheaper, so maybe I'll just try to rig up my own. I guess that's why making your own is such a popular option.

I only made my own instead of buying the panel lights. The 914 bulbs and such I went the easy route and got premade.

I'm not crafty enough to make my own.:D I wouldn't know where to start.

splice into the wire and rig up some other LED bulb... sounds simple enough to me..
But... Im guessing burning your eyes at night, might just happen...

I know that most of those lights are PnP, but for the circuit board, how would you put that in the map light area? Snip the wires and hook to the prongs?

I busted the glass out of a bulb, soldered my wires to the ends, then used a cut piece of a ball point pen tube epoxied between the metal caps to space the ends to the proper length.
Ya'll gonna make me say all my lil trade secrets?

They are all plug n play. The circuit board comes with a 211, 3175,194,57 and an 1157 base so you simply select the base for the bulb your replacing and plug the circuit board into it and then install it like a standard filament bulb.
In this pic you can see the white plug on the end of the wires from the curcuit board and to the upper left side of the pic are the different bases.
