I have a link on my work PC of a carbed 4.3 that chevy built for an auto-X truck that was 400 HP. Sebast has the best I've seen on the forums. I think Daveman2 on syty.net is pushing ~270 HP N/A in his blazer. There's a pile of sy/ty guys who are making serious N/A power too - I've seen before/after turbo #'s but I can't remember what they are.

i hoping to be close to the 500hp mark n/a on mine when its done. Mines going in my mud racing s10 blazer. Right now its only got a tbi 4.3 with like 200hp. I just got my pontiac heads with some porting... also got a bowtie box style intake that has been ported an epoxyed... just got to get all the other parts for it... i gotta talk to my cousin soon he knows a guy that builds 4.3s with 450-500hp...

Most that were mentioned are all streetable. Search for a guy named "Stevanator" on here. See what he did. But he races oval track.

He's proved it many times on the other forum, he's been challenged on it often! IIRC he has the official NHRA record for the fastest "stock" 4.3. That only means he runs in the stock class though - there was alot of stuff he was allowed to do the motor within the rules for that class. His truck is very light, he runs a high stall converter, big gears, lots of traction etc. I think he only made 250 RWHP but the converter doesn't really allow an accurate dyno measurement.

Well that makes a big diff. My buddy still holds the record at Orange county for PS/A in his 396 69 chevelle. But like you said Lot's of factory mods. Do you know the class Dess. s10stocker runs?

Here's the specs from the fastest N/A 4.3 thread on the other forum. I thought he posted up that he had the record for a 4.3 but he mentions 2 others in that thread who are faster.
