i have a 1990 s10 4.3 v6 and i wanna gut the cat will it throw signals on thesting?

it shoudnt i had a 91 blazer with the 4.3 and i removed the cat and nothing happened...i dont think there is even a o2 sensor behind the cat.

Your o2 sensor is before the catalytic converter so you will be fine.
