Connecting Rods

I want to upgrade to 4340 rods. I have pressed fit pins in my pistons. I was wondering if I got a set of rods that are for full floating, but the small end is the same diameter as the small end on the pressed rods if I could still press them?

Won't work. Rods for floating wrist pins have a bushing. Why don't you just upgrade pistons also?? Or you could go with a nice pressed rod. I have Eagle SIR forged rods that are pressed in my 355. I spray 210 shot on it with no worries.

yep, they have bronze bushings that are honed to fit. just upgrade the pistons... it would be cheaper.
