View Full Version : Son of a *****! Rolled my truck last night
Well, I rolled the ford last night. Was driving down a back road when I got into some fog. By the time I got onto the brakes, I was off the side, so trying to miss hitting a sign, I over corrected, got back on the pavement and my tires caught and put it on the drivers side. For whatever reason I had my sunroof open and I crawled out of it. Let this be a lesson. Always wear your seatbelt. Had I not been wearing it...well, I shudder to think of how differently this could have ended. As it is I got away with a scraped up elbow and a scuffed up truck.

Pics or it didn't happen!!!! :p
Ill get some pics up later today. As far as the ford hating going on...that truck kept me alive, and for no worse than the damage to the truck is, its pretty incredible that it was on its side.

I have to admit,I've rolled 2,both Fords.One was a '66 galaxy(over on it's top and not a scratch,w/ no seat belts) the other was a '69 Ford 1/2t step side p/u(I rolled it about 100-125yds,again,no seat belts,3stiches in rt shoulder).If you can't say anything else for a Ford,they WILL take a crash!
Sorry for the crappy quality. Took em with my phone. Truck is covered in mud too, so it makes the scraches harder to see.

Went to the body shop for a quote today.....7900. Good news is its under the magic 75% of the value of the vehicle. Now if I can just convince the adjuster of that tomorrow

yep....good luck... when I had hail damage, they totaled it....and then said I had to settle cause Kansas law forbids "buy totaled" cars without a "yard" license or a dealer license. stopping the normal people from buying it back and fixing it improperly....but hail is cosmetic! we are still talking to the insurance....I told them to cancel the claim.
Well, backup plan is already in order. Going to buy back my old 94 Big Block Suburban from him if I get dicked on this. That truck has been passed around between my brother and I like a drunk girl on prom night. If i buy it this time, it will be the 3rd time Ive bought it from him.
