if i may ask if you have enough room for a flex fan, then why is there not enough room to put on a e-fan ? A e-fan most of the time is more slim then a flex fan.

What are you running for a radiator? I'm running a fullsize truck radiator with dual electric fans (pushers) in the core in front of it. Is the radiator in the core right now? I'm also curious, what temp is it running? Is it too hot at idle or going down the road? Are you using factory or aftermarket temp gauge? And, where is the sending unit, in the head or intake?

im actually running a 3 core alu. rad. in the forward mount postion, and it will get upp to 260 at stop lights and in traffic, im running the factory gauages but im currently in the middle of fabin somthin up for a new gauage cluster and it will have afftermarket gauages. the sending unit is in the head.

If it is getting hot at idle, then it is fan that it needs... more airflow over the radiator. Flex-a-lite makes low profile e-fans that are just over 2.5" thick. I'm running their Dual 420 fans.
Just an FYI, sending units in the head vs. the intake typically read 10 to 20 degrees hotter. My factory gauge with sending unit in the head reads 200, where as my aftermarket gauge with sending unit in the intake reads 170.

If you run a dual fan unit the water pump is usually not an issue as it is between the fan motors
