Cat is toast

I have fixed my problems that I asked about here. (http://www.sicgmtrucks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2103) First problem, the factory coil. After several times of turning it over and trying to get it to start, it would start. All of the unburned gas was being burned in the cat when it started. The first cat; I was told was a resonator. Its actually a small pre-cat. I knew there was a clog in the exhaust because it didn't have any power and when I would get on it the motor would ping really bad. My intake was also really loud when you step on it. I had the entire exhaust redone, minus the Y-pipe. I cut it right at the Y where that little cat goes on and put in all new exhaust. I eliminated that thing and replaced the other one with a performance high flow cat and then added my new Flowmaster super 40. The performance is better now than the way it was, before the cat took a ****. The motor revs faster, top end is better. I can't wait to hit the track again to see what the headers and exhaust do for me.
