Well i found a 350. Its been sitting in the driveway and I didn't even know it was there. lol. Out of a 1986 Chevy Van 2.0 My dad's work van he doesn't use anymore. :D I will probably get it for next to nothing, if not free. Now I need to rebuild it cause its been sitting for almost 3yrs.

Gaskets obviously. I just wanted some suggestions on upgrading it.
Note I want this still to be a daily driver('89 Jimmy)...so nothing fancy. The less $$ the better.
Perhaps a minor cam upgrade and maybe 4bbl carb...
Links and part #s would be very helpful. Thanks.

I'd do an Edelbrock package (in addition to the gaskets). Maybe a Performer or Performer RPM -- probably a Performer package.

I though they were all in one package -- at least the manifold, carb and cam used to be. You can pick them up at Summit Racing or Jeg's.

Thanks. Thats the first place I went to look before I started this thread. :)

Since your Jimmy's already TBI, why not just get a TBI manifold and PROM chip for the 350? You can even use your 4.3's TBI, but you'll need bigger injectors. Manifold will cost about the same as a 4bbl, and the chip (from junkyard) and injectors will cost less than a new 4bbl carb.

Matt hit the nail on the head, keep it TBI.

Here's your kit;
