I'm just wondering, has anyone tried this? I know there is gonna be a fair amount of fab involved here but i need new fenders anyway so why not cut up the old ones, right? So i'm contemplating this on my 2000 S10. I figure i can get a set of stock colorado headlights cheap at the junk yard so why not try something. Plus i can upgrade em to projectors after i get it right. Gimme your thoughts on this guys and girls. I think the colorado headlights just look kinda mean. lol You see this alot with Nissan 240SX's. They convert them to Nissan Silvia front ends so why wouldn't it be able to be done on the S10s? Gimme your thoughts! lol

IMO the Colorado front end fits the front of a first gen better. I have seen one or two second gens but they didn't turn out well. Trail Blazer swap looks better on a second gen. Again, IMO, I think front end swap have been over done at this point.

Here are some pics of a first gen swap to show the work.

i definetly agree with eric. the colorado has more defined angles and hard lines, that i think flow better with the first gen trucks. second gen trucks are too round. also if you still go through with this you are proly gonna need a hood and get ready to replace or do some modifications to the rad support as well.

Hey, the Trail Blazer swap is tit's.
I might do it even after my last post. I'm pissed so the truck should reflect that.

Anyway do what you want but don't post pics 'till it's done. I posted the last pics of that truck. Family died and he gave up, sad but it happens.
