changed my leafs today. the pass. side went easy and fast. the driver side was a pain in my ass. the bolt for the front spring eye mount wouldn't come out because of the gas tank. there was 1/4" of clearance missing. I had to fight to get it out. I don't know what gm was thinking....again, but they don't think of the people working on the stuff when they design.
I feel better now.

It worked just fine on paper. Also worked fine without the gas tank which is put on after the leafs are. Chassis is done first, then the upper!! Yup gotta love fore thought and planning!
gotta love how a collage grad with a degree can desing a car. you want someone to design a car. let a mechanic with 30 years experince build a car. i bet it would be very easy to work on

easy to work on, but guaranteed he wouldnt want to do it. they want to work with their hands, not sit behind a computer for months!

i know i was just saying that i think someone who has worked on cars all there life could design a better car than some one whos goes to collage and has never worked on a car a day in his life

Pull it out as much as possible, cut it in half, pull the rest out. Then replace the bolt and put it in the opposite way!

Instead of using car guys to build cars which would forget other things and do about as bad as the paper pusher. It should be done that once a proto has been built a car guy looks it over, finds those fun things, and make MR SUIT try to do it!! Nothing like learning with hands on especially someone that dont like getting there hands dirty!! Cracked knuckles, bleeding ones etc!!

Easy now. I will be that nerd someday hopefully. All I can say is that it isnt easy to design **** wit all the impact ratings, and regs. that are in place now days. Just keep all of that in perspective
