Cracking noise

I have a 00 Sonoma ZQ8 when i turn in to a driveway i get a loud cracking noise from the suspension... like the torsion bars on 4X4 trucks. What can be causing the noise? what should i look for?

Bushings, coil spring isolators, ball joints, body mounts

I vote ball joints. they will emit a cracking or snaping noise when turning and going over a bump at the same time. Often times they will squeek too.

How about the hood hinge bolts?

ya ball joionts make a crazking noise then BAM! you have 2 ball joints instead of 1 ha,id say that or tie rods
