Does anyone know if the GM performance ZQ8 wheels # 12498299 fit my 2000 sonoma? Does it fit the hub bore? Are these the same that came stock on 01-03 ZQ8 truck? Description state it fits older vehicles w 5X4.75 bolt pattern. I just want to make sure the fit before I place a order. Has anyone bought that wheel kit for there truck? Thanks

Hey, thanks for the advice. I plan on buying new around my area they rarely come up for sale, when they do they sell fast. I have looked at ebay there almost as much as new at the end of the bids.

I have heard that on Camaro's the rear wheels have to be grinded to make them fit something about the flange bore on drum brakes.

You do. Camaros w/rear discs, the hub hole is just a tad bit smaller than on drums. I found this out back in the 90's. I had both a 87 Blazer and Iroc. I wanted to see what the Iroc wheels would look like on the Blazer. I got them on with the use of an impact gun.....I thought I was never going to get the rears off. I had to sit down and kick the sh!t outta the side of the tires for about 30 mins to get one of them off....
I've seen a thread some where that a guy opened up the hole just a bit with a router. IDK how much you gotta open it up but I think you just have to open it up a slight bit and only about 1/4" deep.

Just to clear up a couple of things..Hub diameters changed in 98..at least I think that's correct. Anyways, Goodyear damaged all of my 1st style ZQ8's (96) and they ordered a new set. After mount and balance they discovered they wouldn't fit because the center hole was too small. They bought me some Boyds instead.:D I sold them and promtly bent one of the Boyd's. I ordered a set of the new style ZQ8's and they wouldn't fit either. I used a $6 flapper wheel from Home Depot on a drill and it took care of the center holes..about 4-5 min total.

According to the video they will not fit 2nd gen S10? I thought there direct replacement on 98 & newer like the 01-03 ZQ8. I hope they fit my 2000 Sonoma without any issues. Has anyone here bought them from GM performance ZQ8 wheel kit for there 98 & newer trucks without any issues?

Like was said earlier about the 98+ they changed the hub.
