Arggg Upstate Chevy Olds Sucks!

Aight, i bought my truck for roughly 5k about a year ago, then today, while im washing it, the bursh at the carwash begins to pull the paint of the lower part of my bed. Upon closer inspection, its a huge patch thats bubbling, and its flaking off. OK no problem, its a truck thats 5 years old, it has a small amount of fixable rust on the tailgate. BUT, upon even closer inspection i notice that its just white paint on metal. NO Primer. Seriously, what asshats do that? I had plans for this truck, and now about 3/4 of the bed needs to be repainted. I bought it from Upstate Chevy Olds in Attica. now im pissed

Start saving for a paint job.
sand it down seal and prime any areas that the paint is bad. if their is any rust go ahead and treat the metal with one-step.
thinck of it this way your going to have to repaint it anyway after you get done with the body work.

sure, you can stop rust...just a pain in the behind. Easier just to weld a new body panel from the salavge yard on if you are gonna repaint anyway!
