s little 95 to 00 front swap info ?

for those of you who have done the swap . what i need to know is what wires do what for the headlamp assembly .

for the 95 headlights, there is 1 bulb with three wires on each side. one wire is ground, one is low beam and the other high. use a test light to find out which is which, then cut of the stock plug. when converting to the 98+ style, the new head lights have 2 bulbs each with 2 wires for each bulb, one pwer and other ground obviously. one bulb is low beam the other high beam. i believe the new style bulb part number are 9008 and 9007 high beam, low beam), not sure which is which. to convert the stock 3 wire per side to the 98 4 wire per side, just split the single ground wire into 2 and run each to the bulb, then connect the stock high beam to the 98 high beam bulb, same with low beam. when buying the newer bulbes, you will need the appropriate pig tails as well. any parts store will carry them and will give you part numbers. hope this helps
