One person sad, one elated!!

Well the Old Truck went out the driveway just a few minutes ago and it was a sad moment to see all that hard work leave and it sounded so good. Well at least the driver, XxinfaxX is happy as a clam as he drove away!!

So much time, so much effort to get it where I wanted it with a few minor details to finish and now so far to go before the new one makes me that happy!!

Next question will be does it make it to its new home in one piece????

What exactly did you have done on the '01? Are you planning on repeating them on the '05?

Got a DEAL on a new Jet programmer unit to try out- Dont need the edit since on a stock truck or even the old one with bolts ons, it was kinda a waste, but in reserve if needed.
Got street style fender flares which were to go on the old truck, but havent decided if I want them on the new. There for sale cheap and if they go the money goes into another Gibson system.
Air box for now will just get hacked at.
Gotta pull alot of the interior pieces out to paint them to match the truck.
Thats about all it gets this year unless funds present themselves or plain down right deals I cant pass up show themselves!

You had more work into then I thought. Could be worse, though. . . You could have had all the mods I have and sold it!

Not counting the cost of the truck or parts that I've swapped for better (ahem, Powerdyne, ahem), I've got over 14K into mine -- plus the 14.5K I bought it for (was stickered for 21,900 -- but I'm persuasive). Not much in the way of Show on mine, though -- I want mirrors, hood and tonneau -- but I'm about Go FIRST. Show will come soon enough.

man, all i got to say is good work John. though it did throw the code. ill read it tomorrow and see if its the T-stat one. I didnt beat the sh*t outta it, it did make it home w/o any telephone incidents and pics will come tomorrow!

Told ya repeated stops at full temp is gonna set that P0410 and I bet its that!! I got the stock stat for it also which I forgot about, but will see when ya read it!
