3.1 GM V6 in 1992 Isuzu 4X4 pickup (NY)

I have a very rusted 1992 reg cab Isuzu pickup with great running (160K) GM 3.1 V6 (TBI) engine, solid 5 speed manual, manual locking hubs, 6 bolt wheels. Cab and front fenders not bad..but frame is really gone.

Great parts truck..hate to just junk it if someone could use the GM driveline....will let it go for it's scrap value. Pick up only...just don't have time to part it.

Also have an 88 Astro van with low mileage (94 or 95) 4.3 engine and 700R4...engine really runs great. Engine and tranny are really worth saving...$400 I bought the 4.3 a couple years ago out of a wrecked S10 and put it in the Astro.

3.1 and its a hybrid block. Has the iron heads and RWD motor mounts but the starter is on the drivers side like a FWD block would be in a RWD truck. Isuzu never got a 3.4 from the factory.

10-4..it looks like a standard 2.8 I think the heads, intake, internals, serpentine etc are interchangeable? Just wish the frame was still good...it will just about drive through snow up to the rear view mirrors!

Heads and stuff yes, The serpentine and accessories are different on some and the same on others. Isuzu done some weird stuff and its hard to say without looking at it.
