Could be crap fuel too...LMAO!...I replaced Cam Pos Sens, and the Crank Pos Sens on the side of the road only to find the gas station I filled up had contaminated fuel...mainly cause I wasn't the only knuckle head stranded:D Gave me a hell of a time till I added a bottle of HEET and just burnin' it off;) Oh....and I had the unfortunate luck with "Cheap" cam pos sensors (*cough*...advance auto/pepboys)....swaped in three in about a months time...they were all CRAP! Just ended up going to a dealer for the damn thing....now no issues....hmmmmmmm;)
well i put diff gas in it. and it still want hit a lick!
stilll no fire. idk, auto's suck! lol.
Put your old cam sensor back in( aka pick up coil, sticking out of the side of the distributor), you cant always just replace it and have the truck work. I believe you need to have a GM tech 2 machine to run a crank variation relearn after replacing the crank or cam sensors otherwise it might not work. I ran into the same problem when I replaced my cam sensor, it wouldnt start and was giving me all sorts of problems until I put the old one back in.
How was the weather where you live? I had problems starting yesterday as well because it was really humid and we got a nice all day misty rain, so everything was soaked. I had this problem once before and it might be due to the bad luck ive been having with the junky caps and rotors, and the possibility that I need plugwires. Anyway, no matter what I did yesterday (tried diff coil, cap, rotor) it wouldnt fire right and start. I waited till today when everything dried out a little and it fired right up.
smapped cranks, ant that. its
its deff got sumin to do wit my key switch. if my check gauges and pump and ect ant got power or cumin on, so its deff gotta be sumin wit the switch, if i wigle and tap on both the gear shifter and key thang it works and runs.
so
How you get the rubber round thang off were u put key in?

swapped cranks, and that. its
its deffinatley got something to do with my key switch. if my check gauges and pump and ect don't got power or coming on, so its deffinatley gotta be something with the switch, if i wiggle and tap on both the gear shifter and key thing it works and runs.
so
:)
got all my pieces off around colum and i just dont under stand how it all comes off. theres a electric connection in it, and if it was bad it runs to a connecter and conects to blinkers and everthang.
sum times it fires up when lights on dash on, and if no lights are on that mean no power to coil and ect. But it turns radio on ever time in on positon.
autozone people are dumb and have no idear what im talkin bout when i ask for ignitoin switch.
FIXED the key turning part. was the electric box under the switch.
But, still act like battery dead here and there, sum times fires rite up, and other times takes bout 5 sec of turning over, and once awhile it turns over and runs for sec and dies, usally third time doing this, giving it gas clears it up and runs fine agin.

I'd keep looking for a corroded or otherwise bad ground.
So battery was bad. as in 400 cca when battery says 700 cca.
so
so got New battery! starts fine, Sumtimes, still takes a few seconds to hit a lick! Starter make it not start on time? Sumtimes it fires up quick, sumtimes takes a few sec, but still starts!!!???

lol. Do you insist on creating a new post "ever" time you have a new statement? But anyway, the way i understand it, a crank sensor shoots info to the computer telling it when no. 1 cyl. is on tdc so that it knows when the best time for the first spark is? Help me out other guys, because I'm only about 20% sure lol.
ya, i hit tab and its does that, lol. but i mean it fires up everytime now, so that all that matters, still takes a few sec here and there. but oh well.
