Is it worth it just to get a coil?
Any forseen probs on a basically stock s-10? 2002 4.3 auto
I only have done intake and exhaust.
Thanks!

I wouldn't buy the coil. If you want to upgrade your ignition grab a MSD 6A.
I run a msd6a with the single connector coil. I have no complaints, and its a breeze to install.

I've got both the coil and 6a. With just the coil I saw only a very small gain but I like to have a compete setup for each part of the engine.

Well I saved the money from the coil and am going to get a 6a. I can get it for $249 Canadian. Is that good?
Now can I run just the 6a with the stock coil? or do I need to get the coil too?

You can run it with the stock coil.

stock coil is fine... i haven't had any problems running it with the stock coil... I'm not running a 6A right now though. I have a MSD Digital 6 Plus waiting to be installed... yeah i'm lazy... hehe
