Grab your multi-meter or test light and start poking and proding. Make sure you have power to the switch, and power comming out of the switch and to the motor.
Dont be a parts replacer...lol. Take 10min's and figure the problem out, or else you could spend a lot of money on parts that you dont need and be no further ahead.

If it is the motor and you have to replace it. Don't get just the motor. Get the motor and regulator. The motor is mounted to the regulator with huge rivets that I was never able to find and haven't heard of anyone else finding. You can't bolt it either. There's not any room for bolts between the motor and where it mounts to the regulator.
Now the regulator uses regular rivets and can either be riveted back in or you can use small nuts and bolts.
Only thing else I can thing of is make sure to prop the window up be cause when you drill out the rivet on the old regulator and remove it, the window will fall down.

The main problem is the front skid plate is too heavy.... Hint hint..:D
We carry a Bravada Window Regulator (http://www.1aauto.com/1A/WindowRegulators/Oldsmobile/Bravada/-/-/2001?utm_source=s10planet&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=1ATony) if you need one. If you have any questions just send me a PM and I'll reply to it.:)

i replaced just the motor on my truck, and i bolted the new one, used tapered bolts and tacked them to the plate, easy 20 minute job for me :)
