i've been thinkin (thats not a good thing) but what would everyone think of a s10 dually. all i would have to do is add some dually fenders and do something about rims. cant you get the bolt pattern drilled out. if i did it i would deffinatly drop it as low as i could. it would also be a first gen. i would basically want it to look like a mini dually.

so what would i have to do about rims and do you think this is a good idea would it look cool?

it might be interesting though. I do believe I've seen a second gen done that way.. no pics....

dude, it would look dumb as crap. But if you insist, go right ahead and cut up one of our wonderful mini trucks

it's been done with a 1st gen. i'll try to fiind pics. It actually looks pretty good.

s-10s are not mini trucks. datsuns, luvs, old dodges, couriers, and the new hondas are mini. johndeer gators are mini trucks

I dont like the huge window in the back, but other than that it don't look too shabby.

blazen
04-04-05, 07:06 PM
that dont look that bad. i dont like the huge rear window. i would just use an extended cab. and i think i would do alittle better with the rear fenders. but it dont look bad

there was a pic of one in a truck magazine either this, or last month. i thinkin it was truckin and it was in the show coverage section. it was a 2nd gen s10 but it didnt have dual wheels out back, it just had a insanely deep dish rim with low pros. it looked bad ass

crazy91s10
04-04-05, 07:31 PM
yeah i saw that one before, im not all for that window either. and i dont like extended cabs that much so i think it would look a little better with a reg cab.

the second gen that i saw looked a lot better than that first gen. prolly cuz it was jacked up a little. ill see if i can find a pic i dont remember exaclty where i saw it at though.

I've been looking at the 1st truck for a while and planning to build own to use a hotshot. those are 68-70 c-10 rear fender in the first one. no I don't like the window either, but that truck has also been insanely strethed and it dose have a 1 ton suspension under it.The rear diff is a 1ton rear that was narrowed the front axel was narrored are custom made, but that is a solid frond axel on that truck. That was not a conversion kit. You really have to admire the work that when into it.

the pink 80's paint ruins the truck in the 2nd one. pull the wing, lower it 2" and level the rear, and put some rims without fake lugs on it and it'll look ok. It looks like a stock truck that someone slaped some fender on and JC wihtney catalog parts on

thats because that is what it is

blazen
04-06-05, 01:43 PM
i'm not likeing the second one that much. dont like the wing dont like the color and dont like the wat they did the rear fenders. i guess a big part of makeing it look right is to do a good job on those rear fenders. that and dont add stupid ****

i like it. I would own it.
I've already looked at the fenders from a step and fleet and the step 1/4s will mount on a fleet box. I thing i can use prerunner fenders for the front, but mine is just a drawing and parts list. stepside s-10 bed are hard to find in good shape

I am, it is the same truck. The lighting is different in the 2nd pic making it appear darker. The front air dam is the same, they both have the same 2 piece rear windows, the body kit is the same, the interior is the same, the side mirrors are the same, and if you look closely, the wheels are the same, they are both 4 door. As for the bowtie on the front, how hard is it to change those? Not very hard. So in conclusion, you can all thank me for proving you wrong

if it is the same truck which it could be then i think it had been redone between the pics. the one on the right is after because it doesnt say extreme on the side the bow tie is better and its a better color blue.

I can belive it's the same truck. One pic was taken when everything was green outside and one was taken when the leaves started turning. He is obivously still working on it.
There is no such thing as a finished project

Well since I have had those pics for awhile and don't remember were I got them I can't Nor do I care to prove it.I save pics from the net all the time if the story and pics interest me.But I do remember the story very well. There was more than just 2 of them made too.The sight had pics of I think 6 all being close in color except a black and red one.And this is way off topic now.But im sure there are more sights out there about the trucks if you wanna go searching.
